Edd’s Workshop Gets The Finishing Touch

Edd China’s a high-profile inventor, designer and presenter who has been a staple of UK television for years.He is best known for the long-running show Wheeler Dealers, but has also appeared on Scrapheap Challenge, Top Gear, Fifth Gear, and more. Edd’s also a best-selling author and holds several Guinness World Records – such as for the world’s fastest electric ice cream van!
His new, purpose-built studio at Temple Park in Berkshire is the site for multiple projects, including his weekly Youtube Show – Workshop Diaries. Edd and his production team urgently needed wire rope balustrade for the mezzanine. And, with shooting of the first episode only days away, it was important they could find the right balustrade company.
The Product
Edd contacted SWR with a request to collect wire rope balustrade components from us before the first day of shooting for his new show on the following Monday. This meant our production team getting the order ready and fully fabricated to the specified dimensions on Friday at the latest.
Careful discussion of their requirements plus hard work by the production team to get the order completed, meant all components were ready for collection that Friday. Plenty of time for Edd to install the balustrade before filming could take place.
